6pm | Free admission – everyone welcome!

Hay on Fire is back on the horizon, and we're inviting the whole community to help bring it to life for 2027!

Marking 50 years since Hay declared its independence and sparked a movement that put our town on the map, this special evening is more than a celebration. It's the first step in our fundraising journey to reignite Hay on Fire and bring the festival back to the people of Hay.

Join us at The Globe for an evening of memories, conversation and community spirit, featuring a screening of Alan Trow's 2007 Hay on Fire film. Come along, see who you recognise, share your memories and hear from Goffee, the founder of Hay on Fire, as we look ahead to the future of the festival.

There'll also be children's activities, flaming cocktails and refreshments, with plenty of opportunities to get involved and help shape what's next.

A winter carnival for the people of Hay, by the people of Hay!

Everyone is welcome, and we mean everyone. Come along, celebrate Hay's unique spirit and help us make Hay on Fire the hottest night in town once again.

Let's light the touchpaper and make Hay on Fire happen in 2027!
